Students first calculated the area of each polygon, calculated the total area, and then used the polygons to create an image.

Error analyses

One of the most exciting parts of teaching is when students can critique the work of others.  Students chose one of two error analysis problems to complete from the textbook.  The students had to identify the error, explain why they made the error, and then correctly solve the problem.
